Good evening!
Wow, I can't believe it has been over a week since I posted anything. It's a busy time of year with sports practices starting, and getting ready for school. Here in upstate New York the kiddies don't go back to school until after Labor Day, so we still have time to get ready yet.
Tonight I am showing a card I made for my youngest brother's birthday. He is in the Navy and stationed in Virginia, and loves to golf as well as play rugby, softball and run. Good thing he's stationed stateside now, lol
The golf bag and clubs are from King of the Grill and the sentiment is from Happy Camper, both from GKD. I paper pieced parts of the bags with dp from Basic Grey's Oliver, and also used the dp on the background panels. The clubs and other parts of the bag were colored with markers.
Have a great night, and thanks for visiting!

Sunflowers
Happy Saturday!
I hope everyone is having the same wonderful weather we are having here in Upstate New York!
A few weeks ago, my kids and I , along with my mom, sister, and nephew, traveled to Oregon and Washington for a family reunion. While we were in Washington, we stayed with my aunt and her husband. The card I made today is to thank them for putting up with us ( especially with 3 teen/twenty year olds, lol). They fed us and took us sightseeing for 3 days, while during that same time, unfortunately, their 6 week old grandson was in the hospital with a fever ( he's okay). So they had a lot on their plates, but still showed us a wonderful time :))
All images, sentiments, and cardstock are from GinaK Designs.

Froggy Birthday
Hello!
Tonight I am showing a card I made for this weeks color challenge over on Stamptv found here. The challenge was to use pink, blue and green.
I chose this cute frog from Melanie Muenchinger's set Just so Hoppy. I stamped and colored him with markers, then clear embossed over him and the water splash before sponging in the pinky rose color. The sentiment is in green embossing powder over my blue cardstock which was embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The Dp is Basic Grey. All cardstock ( white, creme de menthe, and little boy blue) and ribbon is Pure Luxury from GKD.I've had those frog eyelets in my stash forever and this is the first time I've used them.
I like these colors, and often use 2 of them at a time, but I did find it harder to use all 3 of them at once :)

Winter
Hello! Today I'm showing a card I made for a challenge over on Stamptv last week. The challenge was from Lee to make a winter themed card and to use at least 3 different embellishments.
I used the trees and snowflakes from GinaK Designs set Holiday Cheer. I stamped the snowflakes with white craft ink then sprinkled with glitter. The trees were stamped in versamark and embossed with white EP. My 3 embellishments were the self adhesive rhinestones, the ribbons, and the charm with the Believe sentiment. All cardstock is Pure Luxury from GKD.

Welcome
Welcome to my first blog post! I decided to finally jump in and give it a whirl. I can't guarantee that I will be a daily blogger, but I will try to keep somewhat timely with my posts. So, today I'm posting the card I made for a challenge over on Stamptv that was a sketch challenge found here.
The image and sentiment are from GinaK Designs set Sweetest Blessings. I stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with my SU markers. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey. All cardstock is Pure Luxury from GKD.
Thanks for visiting!
