Branching Out

Hello again!  This is my 2nd post for today.Gina K Designs just released some new stamps last week and one of them is Branching Out, designed by Melanie.  I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SET!!!!  Can you tell I love this set??  It has so many possibilities for so many card needs.  Here is what I made last night:

and

This set makes creating cards so fast and simple, for great CAS designs, but they also have the possibility of adding all kinds of embellies if you like the fancier type cards.  The sentimenst from these cards are from another new set called Garden Silhouettes, and they fit perfectly in the branching frames.

CPS 215

Hello!  I went on a stamping streak last night and one of the cards I made was this one for this week's sketch over at Card Positioning Systems

This cute little girl is a gift from my friend Miesje and is from The Greeting Farm.  The sentiment is from the Gina K Designs set Smile.  Cardstock is GKD and SU and Dp is DCWV.  I colored her in with my SU markers.  Thanks Miesje for this cutie!

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll have a few more new posts soon as I made a few other cards last night too, lol.

Best Bud

Hello!

I hope you are having a great week!  It's been a little hard getting back into the swing of things after the Easter holiday, but at least the week is half over :)

My card today is for the StampTv color challenge of white, lemondrop, and bubblegum pink, and this week's Card Patterns sketch:

I paper pieced the seed packets and flower pot from the GKD set Happy Spring.  This isn't my usual type of card with the busy patterned papers, plus the ribbon treatment, plus the pearls, plus the layered sentiment tag, but I really like how it turned out!  I hope you do too!  (Sorry the picture is a little blurry, I was in a hurry to actually get it taken outside between rain storms, lol.)

Ooh-la-la

Hello!

So, I finished cleaning the house for tomorrow and was thinking about heading to the stamping room, but really had no mojo going on.  Then I saw this challenge at Lily Pad Cards.  It is an inspiration challenge using this book cover:

As soon as I saw it, the card popped right into my head.  Once I found the right Dp to use, it only took me about 15 minutes to put it together.  And it actually turned out how I imagined it, lol.

I was inspired by this great color combo of red, black, green and yellow, not my usual go to colors but I love it!  I also threw in a little France for the whole traveling bit mentioned in the title of the book.  The image and sentiment are from the GinaK Designs set Sent with Love.  Cardstock and ribbon are also from GKD, and the Dp is Basic Grey.  The sentiment was stamped with versamark and black EP.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy Easter!

A Sick Hubby

Hello!

I'm so sorry I haven't been around much lately.  My husband has been dealing with a bad infection which put him in the hospital.  He came home yesterday, but will be on IV antibiotics for a few weeks yet.  I'm hoping to do some stamping soon and start posting again now that I'm not running back and forth to the hospital everyday.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope to see you again soon!
