CSS Treasure Chest Hop

Hello!  I hope you are having a good time hopping around with the CSS group today!  If you came from Pam's blog, you are right on track, if not, start over at StampTV so you don't miss out on anything. We are to use any of the many animal sets from GKD for our projects.  I love my animal stamps and had a hard time deciding which to use, so I ended up using 3 different sets, lol.

My first 2 cards are little note cards, made with the biggest large scalloped square nestie.  I paper pieced the little cuties from Warm and Fuzzy on the first card, and stamped the kitty  and butterflies from Purrfectly Delightful on the 2nd card with navy ink.

My 3rd card uses images and sentiment from Funny Farm:

The sketch is this week's sketch challenge over at SCS.  The critters and sentiment are stamped in turquoise ink and popped up over some Basic Grey Dp.

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (March 1st), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs who will get a stamp set of their choice valued up to $24.95!

Now hop on over to see what the talented Sue Morris has in store for you.

Enjoy your hopping!

Card Patterns 103

Hello!  Card Patterns is celebrating their 2nd anniverary with a week long hop and this sketch:

This was a tricky sketch for me, but this is what I came up with :

I used the set Warm and Wonderful from Gina K Designs.  I'm also entering it in Stampin Sisters in Christ to use green in the card.  The hats and mittens are colored with pastels and blender pen, and the Dp is Basic Grey.  All Cardstock is from GKD.

More Release Challenges

Hi there!  I have a couple more cards I made for the release challenge over at StampTV.  These are great to get the mojo going, and who doesn't love to win new stamps?

This first card is for the sketch challenge, and uses the Tea Time set.

This next card uses the set Smile.

Both cards have Dp from the Olivia pack from Basic Grey.

GKD Rekease Color Challenge

Hello!  I made a card today for the new release color challenge over at StampTV hosted by Giovana.  The challenge was to use yellow, green and 1 neutral.

I used Theresa's set Dino-Mite.  I love the cute sayings and dinos in this set.  The tree and dino were stamped on lemon drop card stock and colored with pastels and blender pen.  I cut the dino out and popped him up over the circles ( cut with nesties).  I used a CB folder on the kraft panel and green strip.

Stop over to StampTV if you have a chance for a couple more challenges and chances to win some free stamp sets!

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm on my way now to a penny social, wish me luck!

Tuesday Trigger

Hello!  This is my 2nd post for today.  I couldn't resist this week's Moxie fab Tuesday Trigger inspiration picture.

I am very literal with inspiration challenges as you will see with my card:

I was mostly inspired by the beautiful white and muted blue colors with the pop of red.  My image and sentiment are from the StampTV kit Sent with Love from Gina K Designs.

Love Flowers

Hello!

Today I have a card I made for this week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge.  The challenge is to make a one layer card.

The image and sentiment are from the most recent StampTV kit Sent with Love from Gina K Designs.  I stamped the flowers with Memento Black ink, then colored with my SU pastels and blender pen.  I embossed the frame with a nestie oval, then with the die still in place, sponged in and around the frame to give it some more dimension.  The ribbon is from my stash.

A Bright Day!

Hello!  Sorry I've been MIA for a while, life has just been getting in the way.  I finally got around to the latest color challenge over at StampTV.  I really like this color combo, but not real happy with how the card turned out.  I should have taken more time with it, but I'm gonna show it anyway.
Here's the colors:

And here is my take on it:

This was a simple card using the GKD set Smile, with black, buublgum pink, and white cardstock.  The ribbon is GKD, and the button is from my stash, maybe Basic Grey?
