Sweet Cocoa

Hi there!  We are getting freezing rain in my part of NY today, yuk!  I would rather have snow than this stuff!.

My card today was made just because I was in a creating mood, no challenges, and not for anyone in particular.  It uses the Sweet N Sassy set Cocoa's Tasty Treats.

I also used the new heart scallop die from SNSS. some nesties, twine, cardstock from GKD, and DP from Echo Park.

Thanks for stopping by!

CPS 251

Hello!  Welcome back to my second post for today, this one with a card for the CPS sketch.  Now, I made the card with my newly received stamps from Sweet N Sassy, and didn't realize until I went back to the CPS site that a few of the designers used the same set.  This sketchy snowman just seems like the perfect fit for the image portion of the sketch, lol.

You cant tell in the picture, but the snowflakes were punched from glittery cardstock :)

Card Patterns 148

Hi!  I haven't played with Card Patterns for a while, but the sketch looked fun!

The image and sentiment are from Sweet N Sassy Stamps, and the Dp is Echo Park.

SSS141

Hi there!  I hope you are staying warm!  We don't have much snow here in my part of NY, but my driveway is an ice skating rink thanks to the freezing rain we had yesterday, yuk.

For this week's sketch at the Sweet Stop, I used the new set Love From Rhubarb.

I used traditional Valentine's Day colors of pink and red, and the new heart scallop die from SNS.

Thanks for stopping by!

Digital Scrapbooking

Hi there!  My New Year resolution was to be more consistent with my crafting, but going by my blog, it looks like I haven't been doing anything.  Well, that's partly true, I haven't done much stamping lately, but I have been getting some scrapbooking done.  When I  got my new computer this past year, it came with photoshop elements, which can be really overwhelming if you don't know what you are doing.  So, I found Jessica Sprague's site, and she has some great video classes regarding photoshop and digi scrapping.  With her classes comes a ton of extras and freebies ( I have yet to actually purchase any digi paper or elements).  Everything I've used has come with the classes and projects.  So here is what I've been up to:

So, I may not be stamping, but I have been doing a whole lot of creating.  I am expecting some new Sweet N Sassy stamps in the mail this week, so I will be playing with those soon :)

Love Spot

Hi there!  I hope you are enjoying your Sunday!  I'm stamping while the rest of the family is watching the Giants game, Go Big Blue!

So, my card today is for one of the challenges from the Sweet N Sassy release party, to make a card with black, white, and one other color, I chose pink:

Go Girl!

Hi there!  I hope the New Year is starting off good for you!

I made this card for a friend who will be having some surgery next week.  I used the GKD set You Go, Girl!  It's the first time I've inked it up, eek, and it's just so cool!

I'm not big on resolutions, because I can never seem to keep them, lol, but I decided this year I would like to become more consistent in stamping.  I tend to have a few weeks of creativity, then go a month or so without making anything.  So, hopefully, you will start seeing more posts from me in the future.  I do need to do a major overhaul in my crafting space though, it's a bit of a disaster following the Christmas card making spree, and my daughter also used the area and some of my supplies for a Spanish class project.  It's not a pretty sight at the moment, lol.  I was forced to bring supplies to the dining room table to make this card, hehe.

So, Happy New Year, and I hope to see you again soon!
