Hello, and welcome to another hop from the CSS gang at StampTV. If you arrived from Pam's blog, you are in the right spot. If not, start over at StampTV so you don't miss anything.
This hop is based on this wonderful sketch from the talented Melissa Cash:
Her is my take on the sketch:
I used Theresa's new set Dino-Mite. What fun images! I colored this little dino with pink chalks and a blender pen. Cardstock is Bubblegum Pink and Black Onyx, and DP is Basic Grey. The buttons are also from GKD.
Next you can head on over to see what beautiful creation Sharri has come up with.
Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (February 1st), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs who will get a stamp set of their choice valued up to $24.95!
Thanks for stopping by!

Chocolate Turquoise!
Hello!
The new color challenge over at StampTV has some yummy colors:
I used the new set Ready, Set, Snow from GKD. I colored that cute little squirrel/chipmunk with chalks and a blender pen. I added some glitter for the snow path. The snowflake stamp is from another GKD set, but I'm not sure which, it was just sitting out on my desk from another project. I'll have to find it's home again, lol. I added a little jewel to each flake for a little more sparkle. All cardstock is from GKD and Dp is Basic Grey.

A New Sketch, Stamps, and Technique
Hello!
Today's card is for a couple of challenges. The first challenge is for Stampin' Sisters in Christ, which was to have a theme of "new". For me, this was a new sketch, a new stamp set, and a new technique. Also, the enjoyment we get of receiving something new in the mail. The other challenge is this week's sketch challenge at StampTV. My new stamps are from this month's newly released StampTV kit from GKD. And the new technique is using die cut tags to form a fancy frame. I love this idea, and will be definitely using it again. You can see Gina's video of this technique here.

Butterflies and Rainbows
Hello! I hope the week is starting out good for you!
Today I have a card for 2 different challenges:
I am submitting this for Tina's challenge over at StampTV to use the emboss resist technique on the card, and to Stampin' Sisters in Christ to use wings on the card. The butterfly from the GKD set Spring Mix was stamped and embossed in white, the I brayered over it with ink from a kaleidoscope pad. I love the look of a rainbow with these butterflies, it's just so happy looking :) The sentiment is from the GKD set Friends.

Card Patterns and Something New
Hello!
My card today is for 2 challenges. The sketch is Card Patterns 97. I expanded on it a bit to accommodate for a normal size card instead of sticking with the square card of the sketch. The other challenge is Michelle's over at StampTV to use 1 new item on the card. My new item is the DP, which was a recent gift to me from my CSS secret sis. It is from Basic Grey's Green at Heart pad. The image and sentiment are GKD Tea Time.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

A Color Challenge
Hello! Tonight I have a card made for a challenge over on StampTV. Last night was the release party for the new January stamp sets from Gina K Designs, and part of the fun is a few challenges and contest questions for a chance at some free stamps. So Vicki had a challenge to use the colors turquoise, kraft and chocolate. Here is what I came up with:
I had some fun making this card, using some things that have been getting quite dusty in the craft room. I stamped the flowers in versamark, then brushed over them with my old chalk pastels from SU with a sponge dauber. This is a great way to still get bright color on a darker cardstock. The other thing I pulled out from a pile was the edger scissors for my corners. The flower images are from Many Wishes, and the sentiment from Labeled with Love, both from GKD. Stop on over at StampTV and check out the other challenges, it's a fun way to win some great stamp sets!
